QUICKFIRE2 acts as a “Rosetta Stone”. It provides an environment where any miniature can be used.
QUICKFIRE2 was designed to provide an easy to learn, fun to play, four-dimensional game that teaches the principles of war and the tactical employment of combat forces.
A well-run QUICKFIRE2 game rewards imagination and creativity and, as in real combat, ruthlessly punishes mistakes.
It is a scalable environment that permits players to engage each other with large armies of literally hundreds of miniatures, or smaller units of just a few.
The focus of the rules is on sound tactics, and rapid, decisive decision-making.
Once the basic mechanics of the game are understood, QUICKFIRE2 is a fast and violent game that is easy to learn but could take years to master.
The designers of QUICKFIRE2 are both United States Marine Corps Officers. Both are combat veterans, have served as certified tactics instructors at the U.S. Marine Corps Officer Basic School, and have extensive knowledge of board, miniature and computer-based gaming.
